Enroll with MHBP
Outside of Open Season, you can enroll in the Mail Handlers Benefit Plan after certain Qualifying Life Events (QLEs). The most common circumstances include:

You are a newly eligible federal or postal employee, still within 60 days of having become eligible for the FEHB program;

You have moved outside of the area covered by your current health plan;
-
You are newly married or divorced;
-
You have a new dependent child, either by birth or adoption;
-
You have a change in employment status;
-
You have lost other health insurance coverage;
-
You have become eligible for Medicare.
